You will receive relevant push notifications depending on where you are and when your trip takes place:
  • Flight-related notifications (e.g. delays, gate changes, boarding time)
  • Local notifications (e.g. offers at the airport)
  • Service-oriented notifications (e.g. if you were automatically connected to the WLAN on site)
There are a number of reasons why you may not receive push notifications. Please check the following points:
  • Notifications switched off (iOS): You may have deactivated the notifications for the Passngr app in your iOS settings. Please check your settings to make sure that the notifications for the app are enabled.
  • Focus mode or "Do Not Disturb" enabled (iOS): If your device is set to a focus mode or "Do Not Disturb", notifications will not be displayed as usual. Adjust these settings or deactivate these modes to receive notifications.
  • “Deliver quietly” (iOS): Your device might be configured to deliver notifications silently, which means they go straight to the notification center without triggering a sound. Check your notification settings to change this behavior.
  • Incorrect time and date settings (iOS): If the time and date settings on your device are incorrect, this could affect the scheduling and delivery of local notifications. Make sure that the time and date on your device are set correctly.
  • Limits for scheduling notifications (iOS): iOS limits the number of local notifications that an app can schedule. If this limit is exceeded, no additional notifications can be scheduled. This could lead to problems with 64 or more saved flights in the future.
  • App has been reinstalled (iOS): If you uninstalled the app, and then reinstalled it, all previously scheduled local notifications would be removed. You will need to reschedule the journey to resolve this.
  • Network issues (iOS): Network issues may occur that cause the push notification to not be successfully sent to your device. This may be due to a poor internet connection or other network issues.
  • Problems with the Apple Push Notification Service (APNS) (iOS): Problems may occur on the server side of APNS that affect the delivery of push notifications. This may be due to maintenance work, overload or other technical problems.
  • Operating system version (iOS): It is possible that your iOS device is using an outdated version of iOS, which may not be fully compatible or may have certain problems with the delivery of push notifications.
  • Energy saving settings (Android): If a power saving mode is activated, notifications may be displayed with a long delay or not at all. This can vary greatly depending on the manufacturer. More information depending on the manufacturer under “solution for users” https://dontkillmyapp.com/
Simply select your desired flight and click on the "Share" button in the detailed view. This function allows you to save your flight data in the calendar. You can also share your flight on Facebook, Twitter or by eMail.
With the Android version, Passngr requires your consent to be located so that you are automatically logged on to the WLAN at all participating airports. This also prevents other WLAN networks with the same name from establishing a connection to your terminal device and thus to your data.
You can find all relevant information about the Airlines in Munich in Passngr in menu item Airport, About the airport, Airlines.
